Meet Your Neighbors (and their dogs) In Real Life

Everyone is lonely these days. We all know that the only solution to that is to go out and meet people, but that is easier said than done in this atomized, fragmented society! RINGs helps you get over that challenge, and connects you with kind people near you.

Make the World a Better Place

You will be part of solving problems from day one. And the people in your RING will help you solve your problems. Together, we can make solutions that will be greater than the sum of their parts.

The immense satisfaction that arises from knowing that you are helping others... priceless!

Reduce Dependence on an Inflated Economy

Inflation is bad, and getting worse. It's getting harder and harder to pay for things. Exchanging goods and services with our neighbors helps reduce the pain we are all feeling in our wallets.

Protect Ourselves from Severe Shocks

CEO's are bragging that they plan to cut up to 25% of the jobs in our economy, thanks to AI. This is going to be a massive blow.

There is also always the possibility of a natural disaster... which may or may not be mitigated by FEMA.   Even if FEMA can help, it might not be enough.

Neighborly support can, and should, fill in the gaps. We need to protect ourselves as much as possible, and the only way to do that is Together.

Provide Options for People Who Are Locked Out

Unemployment for the youngest generations is at the highest in 30 years, (excluding the pandemic). With rising interest rates, rising inflation, AI, and many other sources of insecurity, this number is only likely to increase. People who can't find jobs still need something to do, to provide utility to the community.

It's not just the youth.  The elderly, the disabled, parents of young children, and more, may also find themselves feeling more and more precarious these days, unable to access the benefits of the mainstream corporate world. There are plenty of ways to be helpful to others, even if the mainstream economy won't "hire" you!  RINGs can provide opportunities for people to give to their communities, making sure everyone's material needs are met.

Learn Important Skills

If you decide to join a Neighborhood RING, you will be "paid" (in your state's CES currency) to learn how to grow and prepare food, how to repair broken machines, how to repair homes, and many other important skills that modern society is forgetting.

Ready to Get Started?

Getting started is easy! You can participate at any level you are comfortable with.

  1. Start by joining your state's CES. Make a few posts, trade some services, and see how it goes.
  2. Build community spirit by attending or hosting a one-time event!  Contact your CES administrator if you have an idea for a fun community event. This could be a musical event, a game night, a repair cafe... there are tons of options!
  3. After a bit of time, you can attend a local meeting near you to see how the Neighborhood RINGs work. (Contact us to find one.)
  4. If you like the meeting format, feel free to join a Neighborhood RING. If it's not your cup of tea, that's fine. You can still help your neighbors by participating in the CES, and attending or hosting local events.
